This travel mug is amazing. I put coffee in at 6am and 7-8 hours later, it is still hot! Unbelievable! The only downside, if any, is that the coffee stays so hot that it's almost too hot for drinking right away, and I need to wait a few hours for it to settle to perfect drinking temperature (or leave the lid open to help cool off my beverage). The 2-piece lid is ingenious, and very easy to clean. I've never had leaks when the lid is closed. I like that you can drink from any side of the lid. The mug is very sleek-looking, yet not slippery to hold, but if this had a handle, it would be even better. Glad that some of the proceeds support Livestrong, a great organization.

This item was a gift for a daughter who is big coffee fan. She wanted a good coffee mug that she could use instead of using the disposable mugs from the coffee stands.
When it arrived I wanted to make sure it worked well and didn't leak and used tap water to test it out. It seemed to look simple enough but I did have to fiddle with it to get the lid to close and to open at first but then it was working fine. It didn't leak when closed.
I like the looks of it and it was a nice size. I asked my daughter what she thought of it after using it and she was please and it did keep her coffee hotter longer and she hasn't complained about the design or anything.
Personally I love to have a handle on my mugs and I would buy a version of this if they made one with a comfortable handle.

This mug insulates exceptionally well. The seal mechanism is easy to use and works as advertised. I've had no problems with this mug after 4 months of usage.

I bought the "Best Commuter Mug" from Hammacher Schlemmer, loved it but dropped it and the top broke. It was discontinued :( so I went looking. I bought the JoeMo as a replacement, and it is the same as the Hammacher Schlemmer one but smaller - quite small, in fact. Then I bought this one. I LOVE IT! It's a pleasure to drink from, keeps the coffee hot and I don't have to fiddle with the second lid. I can't believe that anyone wouldn't like this mug. No, I didn't notice any plastic taste or smell at all. I think this mug is just about perfect. Last night my husband took some coffee out to a fellow working in the snow - he took him MY MUG and the guy (probably unintentionally) took off with it. So here I am buying another one. Coffee just isn't the same without it!

It is an amazing mug as it doesn't spill when closed & it keeps coffee hot for a very long time.
