When the coffee's getting cold but you really want another cup you can use your Chemex coffeemaker to heat coffee on the stove, as long as you first place the metal grid on the burner. That having been said, make sure that coffee doesn't vanish into thin air as you heat it up by putting this tempered glass lid over the top.

Chemex coffee maker lid-- Bad name, great coffee maker. Jul 01, 2010
This is just the lid for the Chemex coffee maker, which works just fine, but I wouldn't have needed it unless I had the coffee maker, which is excellent and stylish.

Nice to have for entertaining. I prefer to keep the grounds in the top to keep the coffee warmer. A thermos would be even better.
